I'm just going to take a sim deal option for now and I've come across this one from Tesco, it's a 12 month sim deal, 500 mins, 5000 texts and a 1Gb data for £10.00 a month - seeing as I'm not that "up" on all these deals is this one as good a deal as I think?
Don't try to keep up with the Joneses - Drag them down to your level - it's cheaper .

If you really need all 500 minutes and 1Gb then it's a good deal.
Vectone do 1000+1000+1Gb for the same £10.0 -
I'd say it was. I can't find anything cheaper on a 12 month deal. Saying that I have the same deal but on a 1 month rolling contract but it appears to have gone up in price since I've taken mine out. You might be better off going on a 1 month rolling contract for that kind of money though. Have a look at Giffgaff too! They do a 1 month deal for £10 but you only get 250 mins but texts and data are the same as the Tesco deal.0

Thank you I've heard of Giffgaff but not Vectone - I'll have a wee look at that one too. I'm over £27 a month just now and I'm notgetting into that again.Don't try to keep up with the Joneses - Drag them down to your level - it's cheaper .

You can get 150 minutes, 200 texts and 400mb free each month on Oviva.
or if you need more they have 250 minutes, 400 texts, and 750mb for £7.50.
It depends on how much you really use.
If you actually need 500 minutes, 5,000 texts and 1Gb, then the Tesco deal is much better.0 -
And don't forget before looking at a deal check to see what the coverage is like in your area. Nothing worse than changing providers and then realising the coverage is worse than you already have! Tesco use O2 and so do Giffgaff. Oviva use Vodafone I believe.0

I've been with O2 for a few yrs now so I'm familiar with them, although cant say they are great, although I guess the other providers aren't perfect either. Vodafone I'd need to check out for coverage.Don't try to keep up with the Joneses - Drag them down to your level - it's cheaper .
