Galaxy s4 problems & queries

I Purchased a Samsung Galaxy S4 10days ago, I have always previously had an iphone but decided on a change.problems started day 1

o2 transferred the phone number from my iphone to galaxy but when i sent a message the reply text went to my iphone!! that was sorted out after numerous calls fro o2 technis. then i kept getting message sim card removed and had to keep switching phone on and off to us it, this happened about 5 times a day. eventually they decided the phone was faulty and sent me a new handset.I am not very techni so had conversation with o2 technis about my photo i had took and i had stored them on dropbox o2 said they would all be retreivable when i next logged on to dropbox again. this is not the case i cant find my pics anywhere, they also told me that the music i had downloaded (about £30) would be retreivable also they said when I went to purchase again playstore would know i had previously download and would reinstall, again not the case, can anyone give me any advice on whether I can retrieve or not especially the pictures, I never downloaded to pc as I thought dropbox was an external storage device that I could sign into anywhere and pic would be stored there

None of your remaining problems and issues are anything to do with the phone.

The Sim card problem may have been.

I know that i was just giving an overview about why i had my handset replaced and how i now cant access dropbox pics. Should it have stored them or not and can i retrieve them or not

you need to login to drop box and google and then sync with them with the phone ,its at the top then move the top to the right when you pull the notification screen down,the sync icon should be light green

and login
where you will see them

if not you have not set the phone up right ,
pull notification screen down,touch the cog/setting icon at the top
scoll down to accounts and you should see google ,email,facebook (if you use it )samsung account and add account,
touch add account and you will see a list off accounts on your phone with a gray or green icon at the right side ,
if its gray you need to login ,if green go back a screen and touch the account you want ,eg google ,
touch google and then your email address google@gmail.com and all the sync stuff should have a green tick on ,
at the bottom you will see sync now touch it and wait until all the white sync icons are gone ,
then you can open play to get your stuff back ,but you need to touch the menu button on the botton left and you will see my app my wishlist ,account and thing like that ,if it say my then apps/music you stuff will be there

iTunes and Play store are very different things, run by very different companies. Anything you have bought from iTunes is not retrievable from the Play store.

very true,but how the post reads is that they were on the first S4 not iphone
