cheers then people.
it is interesting to see some of the stats.
alot of the FTB type home owners, seem to be:
average age (25-30)
approx average income or above £25kish,
their mortgages seem to be of a realistic multiple (ie about 3-3.5 times) and
most seem to be below the "average price".
I was just interested to see what the "normal" people on here (mainly the FTB territory) stacked up against the "average" wage/"average" house price/average age ideology.
obviously there are some outliers but looking at the majority of them that's how i see it.
it is very interesting to see the rental prices as well for the differing types of property around the country, ie £200pcm for a 2bed flat (mates rates or not that's bloody good! lol) and the Hong Kong £4200 pcm, !!!!!!!!!!!
it seems the average kind of price is £700-800 for a 2 bed flat around london, again I came to expect that.
but then for £775 you could get a 4 bed detached in Devon!
thanks again people, obviously I won't go into too much I'll leave that to the analytical amongst us (well you) to properly work out who's better off & who's overcommitted, etc.
obviously I know this doesn't take into other debts, etc.
but thanks again.
anyone else care to add anything to the "scientific findings"0 -
