Orange guarantee issue

When you rang Orange, did you ask whether it was under guarantee?Yes, because I didnt want to sell it as 'dead' to somebody on ebay and I was unaware that the phone was under guarantee with Orange because Orange did not advise me it was inder guarantee when I rang them.
I think you'll find that guarantee/warranty information can usually be found in the box the phone came in.
As said above, Samsung phones come with a two year warranty.
You do understand that, even if Orange had advised you that it was under guarantee, orange or their agents would've needed to look at the phone to ascertain that the fault was covered by the guarantee?
Would your data be too sensitive for that examination too?
Anyway... you smashed the phone... your responsibility.0 -
There's a bit of an echo in here tonight!0
