    We tried most things, baby oil worked best for us... plus use any spare on each other on a Saturday night :D

    Best thing I've found for metal and glass that's greasy is bicarbonate of soda. You only need a little on a damp cloth to rub the grime off, then wipe over with a clean wet cloth to remove any residue and dry with a towel.
