how best to clean fingermarks and streaks off new cooker hood

Hi

I've just had a new stainless steel and glass cooker hood fitted and it looks great but there are fingermarks and streaks all over the stainless steel - any idea how best to clean them off and leave it streak free and unmarked?

Try a small amount of baby oil on a lint free cloth.

You could use a stainless steel cream cleaner or a spray like this:

There's also a video on the Lakeland site showing you how to use it!

Just clean hot water and a microfibre cloth. Works a treat on mine.

If baby oil cleans grease marks off stainless steel, what is it doing to a baby's skin!

The MSE way would be white vinegar. which cuts through the grease of the fingerprints and lifts it off.
