In a desperate attempt to get ANY food down him I chewed up bits of chicken and pushed them into his mouth where there was a gap where some of his teeth had gone (he kept his mouth clamped firmly shut against all food).
I thought if I could get his blood sugar up a bit his appetite might come back and I might have saved him. I did think I was winning when he started licking his lips and looking at the next bit of chicken, but sadly it was just wishful thinking.:(0
