    If you really loved him you'd chew them for him ...

    When my last dog was ill, and not eating, I actually did chew his food for him:eek: not dog food, I hasten to add:cool:

    In a desperate attempt to get ANY food down him I chewed up bits of chicken and pushed them into his mouth where there was a gap where some of his teeth had gone (he kept his mouth clamped firmly shut against all food).

    I thought if I could get his blood sugar up a bit his appetite might come back and I might have saved him. I did think I was winning when he started licking his lips and looking at the next bit of chicken, but sadly it was just wishful thinking.:(
