I'm not very good with words, but you've both been through so much and your love for him just shines through in your post when you're talking about him. It's heartwarming.

He is just finishing his degree in Electronic Engineering.
He has received job offers for 2 of them. One of them was the one he really wanted.
We are over the moon for him and celebrating with a glass of JD and coke:)

me wrote:To say that squills can stick around now that he has deleted posts and apologised is weak.Hang on a minute - why the heck have you quoted my post in a manner that suggests my comment is 'weak. Its nothing of the perishing sort - I was simply pointing out that he's done all he possibly can to appease those that objected and that there is absolutely no need for him to exile himself or to feel uncomfortable. I was offering a bit of sympathy!
Because he shouldn't have to "appease those that objected". This is squills hour of need and the thread should have supported him in the manner he uses to deal with the issues he faces. Whereas it seems that he can only have support if he asks for sympathy in the way that others have done.
Have a read of this, which explains what I'm trying to say better than I can.

This is squills time, anyone further away from squills' MIL than squills has to allow squills to express his worry/ frustration/ anxiety in the way that he chooses. Only those nearer to the centre eg Squills' DW can object to what squills is saying.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards.
