thanks Ellie, Im getting on alot better lately after accepting that the 'old him' isn't ever coming back. Hes still in there but for a long time I expected him to get 'better' and get back to normal. I know now that what he's been through means he might get better, but he'll never be the same as he was before. I struggled with that for a while
