Squills I try not to comment my opinion too much on the thread but some of your posts are so obviously upsetting many people including me and I am sure many have stopped reading the thread last night and today until the conversation stops. Perhaps you could delete the offensive posts and stop posting in that way. :(.

Do T staff get into trouble for overcharges resulting in DTD?

Feeling slightly guilty if they do as I got DTD on a large electrical item that was supposed to be RTC but went through as full price as no RtC labels over barcode ...

    Not all activias comparing:o

I have been clicking some random items onto Tvs A on MSM whilst checking the new items for the 'vs M' lists (well, not entirely random, given they're all cheaper at A than T - and by at least 10% - but random in that that happens to be the various stores' prices).

I'll try and check the result of my 'clickings' more fully later - I've added T Eday Value Sultanas (500g) 98p T, 84p. Strange how psychology affects us all - my T(vs M) list has had the Apricots and other ready to eat pack (not the pack obviously the stuff in it! Stuff that temporarily escapes my mind) - but those packs are actually lower weighted and more expensive - just they are same price in T & M and haven't increased in price. Whereas the S/P/Value Sultanas/Dried Mixed Fruit etc. were a lot cheaper than they currently are - and I became averse to them after the price rose, yet they are still cheaper (and per g cheaper) than the Ready to Eat ones I've got on Tvs M (page 254).

I've also got Bernard Matthews Breaded Turkey Steaks (400g) £1.75 in T until 4/6 (perhaps wait though; for DTDs?) as being a Tvs A filler, but check a.com carefully as this is from MSM. Youngs Flipper Dippers 10s - £1.75 T £1.00 A, but you're getting T to overcharge you, yet again, instead of going Avs M on them when M were 89p (now expired).

    Rant warning:
Best to buy the Sultanas straight in A on a non-comp shop (or MSM is suggesting they are a potential Avs W filler item for outside N.I).
The Activias may be non-comparable - but, if they are versions that are stocked in A, is T going to rely on its T&Cs "reasons why items return N/A" i.e. T's own computer fails, and not refund to in effect match the prices. I'd rather not risk buying them in T. I'd just buy what I need separately in A and not need 10 different items. It may have been different if there was no A available nearby to me, but then again if say M's were cheaper and I had a T nearby but no A, I'd shop in M rather than go Tvs M for the same thing (or rather for a more expensive result, with a refusal from T CS to rectify the matter - they've done this three times on me in the last two years - yet another broken promise).

Nonetheless, I'm pleased that T does seem to have some good offers on at the moment - and that I can shop in A and S for them and avoid T altogether, as well as getting them cheaper (via APG) and/or better customer service from A and Sains (neither of whom have ever refused to make up some difference the systems didn't pick up properly).

Oh, that's the 'third person' I've now expressed my dissatisfaction to - after two members of my family so far - did T never learn the basic marketing concept of "the customer is right" and that dissatisfied customers/former customers tell about 20 or 30 other people about their treatment by a company that has provided them with poor service? In fact, how many read this thread? Not even just told merely 3 people now!
