In the middle of the sea :p

Much easier clue tomorrow - majority of folk should get it :) (although won't be from the country I'm currently in)
Something unexpected happened which made me smile and still continues to make me smile.

Is this true? That they try and keep new mums in hospital for a week?? In my day if everything had gone to plan and you had been seen by the paeodetrition however you spell him then you were out if the door ASAP
My middle one was nearly born in the car park, delivered within 30 mins of being admitted. I was totally desperate to get home but had to wait until the afternoon before we could go home as it was a Sunday. By which time son had contacted a skin rash which the doctor at home said had def been contacted in the few short hours we had been in the hospital.

What place are you talking about pls Nosy Susie

Thankfully the only time I have spent in hospital is for childbirth, they kept me due to a slightly difficult delivery and I hated every minute of it and broke all their rules lol.

Me too, 10 days with the first, 14 weeks with the second, 12 before the birth and 2 after. I used my room as a hairdressers, perming and colouring all the other long stay patients.

You mean you were smoking on the ward?!?

JK. You sound like my missus. They wanted her to stay bed-bound for 24 hours but she wasn't having it

Yea, used to do that in the smoking room in the maternity hospital. And in my bed when I spent a month in hospital after a car crash. Those were the days ;) No smoker now though so would hate it.
Love your Mum, you'll never get another one when she's gone.
  • Having said that, I am very sorry to hear that life is treating you and your mother so badly right now.

I hope there is some kind of improvement.
