Well, since you asked...
I bought garden furniture a couple weeks ago with some helping hands and a £65 giftcard from joining sky. A few days later the furniture went on sale so i returned it (SA refunded full price even thiugh i used HHs), bought it again at the reduced price using more helping hands and pocketed the difference to a giftcard.
i thought that was the end of it but now the double up is on for garden furniture and my set is still at reduced price so i'm going to return it again for refund to gift card and buy again using exchange vouchers. Just for good measure i'll use a £3 off £30 mailing voucher :money:
And to top it off my mum likes the set so much she wants me to buy her one too. I'll double up my vouchers to buy it and she'll reimburse me in cash
I doubt i'll be making such a large purchase again any time soon so i think i'll use a double points coupon too
Goodness me...........SIMPLES!0 -

Lutzi,
Your story of your daughter's illness and recovery brought teas to my eyes. What a traumatic time you have all had as a family. Thank you for sharing it as it brings other minor troubles into perspective, and I do hope it brings hope to Logie and her family that time will pass and this episode of illness will just be history!!
I feel honoured to share everyone's ups and downs on this thread.0 -
Im just the same, moaning i had another cold for my holiday, at the end of the day so what? im still on holiday still getting about etc.
Logie and everyone else thats unfortunate to have serious illness , cant always get out let alone on holiday, its just made me really open my eyes
I know what you mean, I was having a mini panic attack when I couldn't find my lucozade receipt and thought I may have left it behind
Then I came on here and realised if that's the only thing I have to worry about today then I'm bleeding luckyThere comes a time in every woman's life when the only thing that helps is a glass of champagne ... Bette Davis0 -

I think it did too. Mind you, all the posh rich folk live there and they probably earn shed loads so it would make no difference to them.
Are you from Yorkshire? Nice to hear from others near where I am on here. Most are in NI or down South.

Thanks for posting about the 1p chocs. I was in Glasgow today so detoured by Milngavie and relieved them of 10 boxes. Still plenty left on the shelf.
PS opened a box to try them and they are very nice indeed.
Thanks again AAU!!! :T:T:T
Glad you got some
I couldn't believe how many there were

No I'm from Durham mimi:)
For anyone who is in Harrogate. In the British heart foundation charity shop there is a pair of red suede sling backs with a kitten heel, size 6.5. Either autograph or per una. Soles are marked a little but are basically brand new. They are gorgeous
I was going back for them but forgot:o
