Well where shall I start seeing you have both twisted my arm............

As you know I went for whoopsies earlier and I've not had any red meat for ages. :o

Last week there were 4 or 5 nice butcher's joints but I didn't have a pound for a trolley so by the time I had filled my basket and paid for the first round of reductions and gone back in they were gone. :(

Well this week I had my eye on the one and only nice bit, did the cruising around the aisles several times still there. Butcher was doing it in dribs and drabs. Lots of people looked at it but no one was tempted it needed to go down further.

Even after my little chat with Truffle we both went and looked at it admiringly. ;)

Eventually it was gone from the shelf but where? I looked and could see the butcher was reducing it further. :j

I waited and he came walking over chatting to a lady, and put it back so I picked it up and this is where it gets embarrasing. The lady just looked at me in astonishment and said he had reduced it for her and he told her he could not give it to her but would put it on the shelf.

But I really wanted it and I was not going to give it up as had not had any for such a long time. And I had been there ages who was she to take the bit of meat I had my eye on. :o I felt really bad but rules is rules and to be honest normally I would back down and have given it to her. I think anyone that knows me know I am usually the sharing kind. I felt really bad after and I'm still not sure I did the right thing keeping it. :(
    Enjoy it ;)

Just going to chat to myself for a minute.

Brought a couple of carrier bags of bits home from mum's today. I am dreading finding homes for everything here, she had her own SP noodle stash so that has come back today. I cleared the savoury tin side of the cupboard.

I also brought back some BS and Boots bargains she got for xmas from me and the girls but never used. Anyone remember the No7 French Manicure set of 3 nail polishes, think they worked out 3 for free with one of the £5 vouchers as they were £2.50 each and on 3 for 2. Those were the days. ;)

Looks like peeps having fun with the Boots BB glitch on grabbit, seems to be getting better the more heads that are working out the best combinations etc. :)

Im here  it is quiet tonight. Stash merging.......not easy :( I haven't paid too much attention to the boots glitch, did I read somewhere that it works best on SS?

Sorry if already discussed but I can't keep up with this thread as it moves so fast! Have you logged in to the Ts CC website recently? It seems to have had a makeover.

Just having a nosey around and there is now something called CC TV - completely free service powered by Bbox (sign in using CC login or BBox)- access to movies and TV series. Probably classic material rather than new stuff (includes classics like Shawshank Redemption, which is always worth another watch!), but free so can't complain (supported by adverts, so will see how annoying they are!).

On the CC homepage at the bottom.

Hi all. Hope everyone has had a fab day.
Struggling to keep up (here and in real life) just so exhausted.

Sister in law was off to Pink Panthers T today so I asked if I could go and left bambino with hubby for first time :-)
Forgot my T mag so didn't have coupons from there.
Used some bzz vouchers but to be honest even with vouchers I found the free from stuff was way out of our budget so couldn't afford much just grabbed a loaf, macaroons and porridge just for sake of completing some activities but couldn't warrant buying anything else.
We were forced to stand outside in rain due to fire alarm!

Couldn't find any penny items. Booooooo :'(

There were some chilli seeds on a rtc shelf with no price but they went through at £2 odd each :O had meant to ask them to check price first but forgot.

The fruit and veg section (most important part of our shop) had someone marking whoopsies but I felt too intimidated to join in as there was a handful of people already there and I couldn't see past them.

The next couple of weeks we will be trying to eat from cupboards and freezer and only buy fruit and veg in order to reduce costs as much as possible, however we do need to find more reliable ways of cutting costs in this part of our expenses. I fail terribly at APGs...

I'm wondering if it will work out cheaper to use a greengrocers for fresh produce and somewhere like B&M or HB for tins etc?
We currently spend around £250 a month on groceries but with my wage now being halved we must reduce it!! :-\ (difficult when you love to eat as well)

Will pop to A for some Luco for a treat for hubby in the morn though.

hi dawnylou. With the Bzz vouchers, have a look in the bakery whoopsies. I found the seeded bread and the bake house loaf reduced today. Both less than the voucher value and the voucher scanned ok. Paid to take them away ;)

Yes I think it does. The one and only boots around here that had a row of them put it last year have had them taken out again.

They have been getting stuff for free today with combinations and money off. ;)
