As you know I went for whoopsies earlier and I've not had any red meat for ages.

Last week there were 4 or 5 nice butcher's joints but I didn't have a pound for a trolley so by the time I had filled my basket and paid for the first round of reductions and gone back in they were gone.

Well this week I had my eye on the one and only nice bit, did the cruising around the aisles several times still there. Butcher was doing it in dribs and drabs. Lots of people looked at it but no one was tempted it needed to go down further. :eek:

Even after my little chat with Truffle we both went and looked at it admiringly.

Eventually it was gone from the shelf but where? I looked and could see the butcher was reducing it further. :j

I waited and he came walking over chatting to a lady, and put it back so I picked it up and this is where it gets embarrasing. The lady just looked at me in astonishment and said he had reduced it for her and he told her he could not give it to her but would put it on the shelf. :eek:

But I really wanted it and I was not going to give it up as had not had any for such a long time. And I had been there ages who was she to take the bit of meat I had my eye on. I felt really bad but rules is rules and to be honest normally I would back down and have given it to her. I think anyone that knows me know I am usually the sharing kind. I felt really bad after and I'm still not sure I did the right thing keeping it.

Such a shame for her, reductions are 1st come 1st served, I'm never there at the right times, but if I was and it was in my basket it wouldn't come out again:T

Only got her word for it that he reduced it for her and even if he did he should get reprimand for it, reductions are for all not for store favorites in my opinion you were right to keep it, so enjoy!

I have free minutes/texts to O2 just ran out of texts for other peeps used too many round mum's. I must remember tomorrow though otherwise I won't get next months freebies.

Thats what I was doing whilst you were sleeping today DM well putting the last 2 up staining, lining and filling with compost
Dont look bad at all decking boards from B and Q spent about £75 and now need quite a few plants as those I got last time artha filled the 2 I made about 3 years ago and 1 pot :eek:

I know last 2 months I have got out of synch with it, I was going to go to Boots today to do it but tied up with whoopsieing. I don't want to waste an opportunity to get a voucher if make up is going for free.
