    Well after that post from Dodo, what did I have to lose, the M word is the least of my worries. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    Tiny, you had done the legwork and she had had a fair chance, so enjoy your bite of red meat.

    Well where shall I start seeing you have both twisted my arm............

    As you know I went for whoopsies earlier and I've not had any red meat for ages. :o

    Last week there were 4 or 5 nice butcher's joints but I didn't have a pound for a trolley so by the time I had filled my basket and paid for the first round of reductions and gone back in they were gone. :(

    Well this week I had my eye on the one and only nice bit, did the cruising around the aisles several times still there. Butcher was doing it in dribs and drabs. Lots of people looked at it but no one was tempted it needed to go down further. :eek:

    Even after my little chat with Truffle we both went and looked at it admiringly. ;)

    Eventually it was gone from the shelf but where? I looked and could see the butcher was reducing it further. :j

    I waited and he came walking over chatting to a lady, and put it back so I picked it up and this is where it gets embarrasing. The lady just looked at me in astonishment and said he had reduced it for her and he told her he could not give it to her but would put it on the shelf. :eek:

    But I really wanted it and I was not going to give it up as had not had any for such a long time. And I had been there ages who was she to take the bit of meat I had my eye on. :o I felt really bad but rules is rules and to be honest normally I would back down and have given it to her. I think anyone that knows me know I am usually the sharing kind. I felt really bad after and I'm still not sure I did the right thing keeping it. :(

    rules is rules :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    you mean you snooze you lose :D she snoozed, what more can you say :rotfl:

    Oh imagine the look on her face, I bet she's still sulking about it now :D

    You saw it first :cool: that meat was rightfully yours ;)

    Alls fair in love and whoopsies......as long as you don't kick shins or elbow ribs :D. I don't think you should feel bad at all TS. Whoopsies are for everyone and you bagged that one fairly and squarely :)

    did you tug it from her?...no.
    Have you been man handled in the past? ......yes.
    This lady was trying to bully you into submission, good on you for standing up to it, the fact she was chatting so intently makes me think she is known to him so will get plenty more cheapies.
