It says the windows security center is turned off, when i try to turn it on it says the windows security center service cant be started!
Any ideas how to fix this problem.
Thanks in advance.

try booting into safe mode with networking (usu. pressing F8 a lot at startup will bring up the screen), and see if it works in that state.
If so, try running MBAM from safe mode.Friendly greeting!0 -

Thanks
I tried the safe mode and ran MBAM it said nothing was detected.
I also ran the Microsoft diagnostic support and it said no problems were found so was unable to apply fixes:mad:

Actually, looking at your previous topic from yesterday there's a good chance you're still infected.
https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/comment/61139057#Comment_61139057
Copy/paste & post the contents of the Malwarebytes (mbam) log file from yesterday.
Open the program, click the logs tab, click to highlight the log where it detected the 14 items yesterday and click open.
After you've posted the contents of that, post me DDS logs - it should take 2-3 minutes.
Download DDS from the link below and save it to your desktop:
Link
After you've downloaded it and saved it to your desktop:- Double click DDS to run it.
- Click Start
- When it's finished, DDS will open two logs:
- DDS.txt
- Attach.txt
Copy & paste the contents of just DDS.txt & attach.txt and post them here (you will need to split the logs over separate posts)
I'll take a look later when I'm home (5'ish)
FYI - mbam should always be run in normal mode wherever possible.

OK will try this now but machine is running dreadfully slow. also I can see the logs from yesterday but am unable to copy them, sorry but am feeling a bit useless at the moment but thanks for the help0
-
If you click the button on the logs tab after selecting the log, it'll open in notepad. From there just go to edit > select all which will highlight it all, then edit > copy. Then right click in the reply box here and choose paste.
It'll give us an idea of the actual infection.0 -
Sorry
Cant find the list in red that was there yesterday, there is just one highlighted red in the quarantine section.
I did the DDS thing but it says i have ti zip it to post on here and i don't know how to do that, i think you all may lose your temper with me for being so stoopid!
Thanks0 -
