Call from Lloydstsb account manager

I've also had this from Lloyds TSB. Letters asking me to get in touch with the bank (turned out to be "courtesy review!"), phone calls up to 8 pm at night. One of the phone calls complained that I was very difficult to get hold of (I work full time) and once, when I refused their invitation to come into the branch for a review with their financial advisor, the woman on the phone said "Don't you want to know the best way to look after your money then?"
After that little episode I informed them that I wanted no calls or letters unless there was actually a problem with my accounts. I still get the occasional letter asking if I still want no contact, but it's alot better than it was!0 -
I must be on their "Do not call list" as I've yet to get one of these "Account Review Calls"0

Of course you do, that's why you're not interested in overpriced insurance and mediocre Scottish Widows funds with excessive charges.the woman on the phone said "Don't you want to know the best way to look after your money then?"
I wouldn't mind, if they had some competitive products."It will take, five, 10, 15 years to get back to where we need to be. But it's no longer the individual banks that are in the wrong, it's the banking industry as a whole." - Steven Cooper, head of personal and business banking at Barclays, talking to Martin Lewis0 -

Absolutely! I did point out that the only person likely to get any benefit out of a "financial review" of my accounts would be the bank. The advisor on the phone didn't like that for some reason...0
