Phew, that's another two day working week over with !
The good news is that I'm not working next week. I had a week off a couple of weeks ago, I'm off next week, and I have another week off at the end of June.
I need to use all my holiday by 30th June. As I don't work on Mondays I get holiday time back for Bank Holiday Mondays, so the result is that I get to have lots of holidays!Early retired - 18th December 2014

Just creeping back in

Been MIA for a few days, because I have been taking advantage of the good weather and have pottered in the garden, plenty of fruit and veggies growing happily away now, I have to wait for the next dry day to get them transplanted, hopefully it will be this weekend.
I have a hospital appointment for an EMG on Monday, GP on Wednesday and an unrelated op to both of them on Thursday  first of the big toe nails is to be removed under local anaesthetic _pale_ have been told that I will be off my feet for a good 10 days nowt new there with arthritis
.
Poor DH looked mortified when I got the phone call this afternoon it is relatively a minor op done at the clinic. I really hope that they decide to both of them at once but we will have to wait and see.
Cue big cookathon over the next couple of days with lots of how to's and notes
halight, sorry that you are still waiting, have you tried asking to go to another hospital?
I hope everyone is doing ok and I am off to check up on the last week's posts

Evening all,
Just thought I would pop in as I've had a busy busy day.
Halight hope you hear soon, TTFTM hope you sort out BG,
Hugs for anyone else in pain or just fed up.
Well as most of you know I'm waiting for a knee op, any day now or so they tell me.
Anyway I really needed to go into town today, what with all the birthdays in June so looking for lots of cheap pressies and cards etc. anyway I don't have a car just now and hubby had a full days work which of course is top priority. My problem is I can't walk any kind of distance and its a mile to the nearest train station to get into town. So we came up with a plan were he would drop me in town and pick me up on the way back, bad bad idea.
I managed a slow shuffle around until 11.00 at which point I had to buy some ultra ultra flat pumps and throw my boots in a bag, they only have a small wedge, honest, I know I'm vain, but when your short and fat you need all the help you can get.:o
Anyway that did the trick and I managed to get to lunchtime, picking up lots of bargains. Met my daughter for a sandwich as she works in town. By 1.00 I couldn't carry my bags or walk another step without agony. So had to buy a pull along suitcase to put everything in and shuffle into M&S until hubby could collect me.
Never never again until my leg is better, it was a silly idea but its so frustrating not being able to get out and about. I know my problem is only temporary and many of you have to put up with this day in day out, I take my hat off to you, I really do.
Anyway probably won't be able to move tomorrow, believe me I've learnt my lesson.
Dh is fitting our new sink and toilet in the downstairs loo tomorrow so shall have a restful day other than going up to the loo on my hands and knees:eek:
Ok off to catch up with Graham Norton, goodnight all xStarted Self Managed DMP 10th May 2017.
