    Morning Halight and all,

Miserable day here again. I need to go down the garden but i keep putting it off.

Ive started the jobs already though i'm pulling the furniture out today. Ive got settees, coffee tables and all sorts scattered around the house haphazzardly. The thing is, its hard work pulling out furniture and ive had enough already.

I bought a rubber brush from eb*y yesterday which i am hoping will help gather the dog hairs from the edges of the room. Even vacuuming the edges with the nozzle doesnt get them all up. Same with the stairs. Its amazing how much hair a wet rubber pair of gloves will pick up even after vacuuming the stairs.

Me medication is out again. I'm 25mcg short of me thyroxine. My fault this time as i dropped a few tablets by accident down the sink..... Someone prod me if i dont make any sense today. Today should be ok, its usually in a day or two that it usually catches up with me.

Not much else to add really, all is well. Halight i hope you hear from the hospital soon and islandman, (((hugs))) for putting up with your medical issues.

Hope you have a dry day all.

Bit cloudy here in Kent. Cleaning out the kitchen units and eating from the store cupboard this week to use up some of the multiple buys, that will save us some pennies. Stuffed butternut squash tonight, not had that before.

Would like a bike ride but might get blown off the prom!

Take care all and Hugs to those that need them. X

Very overcast and raining in County Down. Forlorn hopes for good weather tomorrow, as we are having a close family (about 30-40) garden party wedding celebration for my second time married niece and new husband. It would be lovely to have a BBQ but I fear we are in for more showery weather tomorrow. :( We will be getting wet inside anyway!

Well my OH and her girlfriends had a great night at the Drifters concert. How many Drifters have there been? Answer 65, due to (mainly) group members being drafted into the US forces and having to be replaced.

Looking forward to Ulster v Scarlets semi final tonight in the rugby. May have to have a few beer or cider to help Ulster celebrate getting to the final!

Glad the wife had a lovely time Nar. Youve stunned me with the fact about the Drifters though.

Hi all - greetings from a very windy Concrete Cow Country!:D

    Hester
I hope today is a better one; also that the poor child can get the help he/she needs. I can empathise, as my first suicide attempt was when I was eight years old.:(

Halight no date yet - bummer.:( The waiting must be driving you nuts.

Islandman yes, my Radar key has been my saviour on occasion, too - Mr LW thinks it highly funny that I have it on a keyring with an old penny attached.:D

Horse-piddle for me this afternoon; another wax bath for my poorly paws.;)
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

I've just been to Sainsburys and I couldn't buy ham ends from the deli. Apparently they've been told to stop selling them! They couldn't give me a reason why. Ham ends are great for chicken and ham pie.

I've got Sainsburys careline investigating the reason now.

    Tuesday last week,

I phoned the Hospital. They said no date yet.
Don't think there is any point In phoning this week.

I didn't realise it was so recently you'd spoken to them. I can't imagine how frustrating it must be for you and your family.
