my 2012/13 Princapality Ias has been transferred to my Halifax ISA

firstly i presume you mean ISA and not IAS!

anyway, how did you do the transfer?

did you complete a halifax transfer form?

if not you have in fact used up this year's isa allowance.

golden ruleof transfers - the recipient ALWAYS instigates the transfer.

    cheers, be seeing you,

" sent the form my Halifax "
