    Can recommend https://www.drivethedeal.com

You can check out the price online. Very easy website. The car comes from a main dealer and is delivered to you.
Often recommended by 'Honest John' in Saturday's Motoring Telegraph.

    Try:
    ...
    autoebid.com

There's a loooong thread on autoebid already. Go to http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=47091

    I haven't used autoebid.com but from everything I've read I wouldn't recommend them.

What Car magazine has a new car directory in it, with the list price and the target price. The target price shows how much discount you can expect to get from a dealer.

I had a 306, which was great - until some stupid person put her foot on the accelerator instead of the brake, crashed into me and wrote it off.
I then got a 307 - which was awful. Obviously a Friday afternoon car. Electrics were a real problem - all wiring went through the COM2000 switch inside the steering column and wires were always rubbing against each other and causing random electrical faults. If you indicated left the headlamps would come on, plus various other problems.
Got rid of the car asap - last straw was when all the electrics failed together going down the A3.
My DH had a 407 and similarly had lots of electrical faults.
I now drive a Honda and he has a Ford.

While I wouldn't buy a Peugeot we have used Drivethedeal to buy a Toyota.

Did exactly what they said they would. Car came form a UK dealer and had been built only 5 weeks before we took delivery, so it hadn't been in a field.

Get a drivethedeal price and take it to your local dealer and ask them to beat it. Our local Toyota dealer wouldn't.

A colleague is just buying a Fiesta through them too. Dealer would match basic price, but then wanted to add metallic paint and a 'communications pack' so they walked.

Just bought a 107 from Warners of Gloucester for my Grand-daughter. Gave me a better discount than drivethedeal.com and a much better price than any other Peugeot dealer. Had to wait whilst it was built but very easy people to deal with, transfered her own reg for no extra charge. I can highly recommend their prices and sales staff.
