The Toshiba seems to have been produced down to a price using cheap, thin plastic and the keyboard flexes quite alarmingly, as does the case and screen.
However, it has been totally reliable and does everything required of it.

Certainly my older Toshiba is chunkier than my mum's newer model. No sign of flexing at all. But then you'll notice that the new ACERs are also getting slimmer and probably more flexible.

But I've had good luck with both brands.
