BT will be showing 38 matches next season over 3 channels.
These will be free to their BB customers though a set top box purchase is needed (or subscribe to BT television from £5/month).

I don't think that's correct, the BT web site says there are 3 ways to watch one of which is streaming to a PC or a tablet.0 -
I think the poster meant the only way to get it on your TV is by purchasing/using a set top box? They have an app that allows you to stream to your tablet/PC, of course. When you take into account the fact that BT BB is at price that is a premium to alternative suppliers, it will need a calculator to ascertain if switching to their BB is financially viable.0

No. It costs £12/month plus a one off £15 fee for sky customers to "add the channels".
It's only "free" if you are a BB customer.0 -
MSE has covered it here:

I have looked at the 10gb broadband product and ways to access and in a non infinity network i would have to access online. Presumably this would use up the download allowance?0

Yes it will and if you watched a lot the lower allowance may not be enough .
Its not free premier league football but better termed some free games but not all .

Do you know if the app will allow for the games to be streamed through an xbox rather than a laptop? If you always do what you have always done, you will always get what you always got!0 -

Sorry for correcting you, but thats not true. There will be many ways for BT BB customers to view these new channels. And these are through/on -
A BT Vision box
A YouView box
On a PC/laptop or an iPad
And on a Sky HD/SD box
Heres a FAQ's article from the Guardian on what it costs and how to get it -

Hope that helps.0
