Some of the specialist who run Ebay shops seem to be able to undercut the above for things like bubble envelopes, boxes and tape. I once got a big bundle of fax rolls off Ebay at 1/3 the Staples type of price.

Personally, I use Viking. Put simply the service is excellent!

Placed a large order that included a leather executive chair, shown as "in-stock" on the website.

To cut a long story short, Viking c*cked up the order, the chair didn't arrive. I complained and viking sent the chair for FREE.

It broke after 18 months. I emailed, asking if I could BUY spare parts for it.

"No, no" came the reply from Viking. "We'll send you a new chair". "But it's over a year old" I said. "We'll send you a new chair, anyhow" replied Viking.

New chair promply arrived with a HUGE post paid box in which to return the old one.

Two months later, Viking phone and say they have decided to recall the chair as it's not up to their usual quality standard and that they want to send an UPGRADED chair as a replacement. Replacement subsequently arrives.

To sum up, I have had three new chairs over a two year period and not paid a bean for them.

I cannot fault Viking at all. I'd actually go as far as to say they have given me the best customer service that any company has given me, ever!

(FWIW, I have no links to Viking apart from being a very satisfied customer)
