If this is mizulean behind it be very careful.

My wife signed up for their super slimming products but discovered the ongoing £140 a month after the free trial expired in 14 days.

She cancelled and got an RMA number which was fine but the operator (in USA) offered her a free gift as a 'thanks' for contacting the help line. Just pay the p&p of £2,49.......... The operator was very very pushy about this.

The free gift never arrived and we thought no more until an item appeared for £49 on the credit card statement.

The free gift was from a company called rocket marketing in brighton. The gift had a chargeable subscription attached which became due if you didn't cancel.

    Very smart and slick............

I nearly signed up for this as well, sounded too good to be true, but then realised that they would actually charge you this £149, as it does mention it before you sign up. I backed out before I went any further

Just googled it now, and it seems a lot of people have been caught out by this.

Smart and slick? not really - nothing in this world comes for free, especially from a company that does it to you once, but to not see it coming a second time?

I knew how the story was going to end from about half way through your post! :rotfl:

I agree. I've never understood why people pay postage for 'free samples'. A genuine company would be happy to send out a trial for you without taking your cash for postage.

Simple rule, never give bank details for freebies.
