Conned by Free samples

I stupidly didnt read the smallprint when sending off for free face cream samples. They arrived today but now I realise if I dont send them back I will be charged £149! I have no address to send them too although it's somewhere in Israel. Can anyone help?

Oh dear. I assume you only gave your home address and not your payment details. If they send an invoice that should give an address, so return the items.

hi by any chance is it the Dead Sea Beauty Free Trial !!
This happened to me so i called my bank and cancelled my card and then the company could not take any money from my account. The banks are fully aware of this company and when i mentioned it they knew exactly what happened as it has happened to lots of people. if you want to send it back send it to Israel i did and it cost me £14 but i was glad to get rid of it

The small print is very small !! so just call the bank now and stop your card and it will be fine

unfortunately you have to give your bank details to begin with to pay for postage and packaging !!! so the company can take your money automatically from your card ... i didnt realise until it was too late

Yes it is the Dead Sea Beauty trials! I never saw the bit about paying £149 at all. Thanks for the advice!

My friend got her money back, returned the product, followed advice found in various forums around the internet, reported to Trading Standards etc.

I stupidly got caught out with this as well. My bank told me to return the kit unopened to Israel. Cost me £13.85 to return it. I had to get proof of postage from the Post Office. Dead Sea still charged me £98.95 although I returned it upon receiving it and it was unopened. I sent the proof of postage to my Bank and they took up a dispute with Dead Sea on my behalf and refunded my money. They had six weeks to make a reclaim of my money which expired on 4th May and they did not try to reclaim it. Hope you get your money back. Good Luck.

Fortunately I havent paid them anything yet except the postage so I need to make sure they dont take anything from my credit card.
