Failing that, the best software to build one. For best read easiest and most intuitive

Get a hold of this months PC Pro mag. It has some software worth 120 quid for site development (EASY to use) and also a tutorial for building a website using it. Costs £4.99 but got some good stuff on the CD! :)

Its the JUNE issue so be quick as wont be out for much longer (if its still out - I bought it last week)...

I've registered two sites with Strato now and both are running fine. I even sold the freebie copy of GoLive on ebay for nearly £40 (I already had a copy).:j

They are offering a domain I own and pay for....

No problem - they are one of the most respected US providers and are quite happy to have UK business. The same can't be said for all US providers. As I said, if you find the latest Diggnation podcast and skip to near the end, you will get a code that gets $5 off a purchase of $30 or more.

I'm tempted to do the same but it is clearly a sick bird of prey

Did you get a positive feedback on your sale?

I haven't done anything about my site - I don't have a clue where to start when it comes to hosting - still I'm using free software and I'm happy with that for the money - may or may not host later - will definately cancel more than a month in advance!!

No I have run the site for years, same domain... etc it;s not just recently bought, or up for renewal either.

Just find it very odd, unless of course it holds the domain and once its available for renewal...then passes it to you.

...but even then it's not guaranteed you'd get it.

I sure did. There was nothing obviously wrong with it...

Would anyone who has done this be so kind as to tell me the format of the serial number for adobe photoshop elements - please don't write your actual number here!!!

After receiving my cd I installed it, but didn't put it straight back into the original case and now I'm not sure which case it came in.

    My suspect case says

    DP/N OKDO15 Made in Ireland
    DS/N IE-aaaaaa-nnnnn-nnn-aaaa

where "a" are alpha numberic characters and "n" are numbers.

Can anyone confirm that I'm returning it to the correct case or otherwise please.

Does anyone know if the software they supply comes boxed, or branded as 'free' - or is it standard retail packaging ?

    Thanks
