10 Domain names + 20GB Web space + Adobe software: £1

Options
Although this has been mentioned before it was hidden in a thread about software so I thought it worth giving it a new thread to emphasise the amazing bargain on domain names and webspace. I don't think this offer can be beaten:

* 10 free domains
(co.uk., .eu, .com, .net, .org, .info, .biz)
* NEW: Free Adobe® Software
* 20 GB web space/100 GB traffic
* 5,000 E-mail accounts
(1 GB per account)
* PHP, Perl, CGI, Python, Ruby, Cron-Jobs
* 18 MySQL databases and BackupControl

All for £1.19 incl VAT. (+ p&p charge if you want software)

http://www.strato-hosting.co.uk/

You save about £210 in the first year. (EnterpriseWeb is £17.85/month and you get it for 10p/month, ie over 99% discount.)

Offer ends 31 May.

    I've tried a few hosts over the years and the simple answer to good value is - go American. I've used GoDaddy for a while now and have had no problems at all. Much, much cheaper than UK providers. If you take out their Economy plan for 12 months, it costs $3.59 per month. For this, you get 5GB webspace and 250GB a month traffic. It is the traffic figure that blows away UK providers as they normally only give you 20GB a month. Most people will struggle to fill 5GB of storage but if you are letting people download stuff then the traffic allowance is a must. The next plan up costs $6.29 a month and you get 100GB storage and 1TB traffic! Speed seems on a par with UK hosts as well. Also, if you listen to the Diggnation podcast, you can get a little bit extra off if you really want.

    I've registered two sites with Strato now and both are running fine. I even sold the freebie copy of GoLive on ebay for nearly £40 (I already had a copy).:j
