Guys,
I have just noticed on my bank statements that care phone warehouse have been taking £4 per month from my account for mobile phone insurance... Thing is the phone I have with them is for the MRS and and is one we took out when mobiles first came out. It's on orange and the bills come to 50p a month- the contract is that old that's if it isn't used there isn't any monthly charge!
But this insurance- is there anything I can do to get it refunded? I don't ever remember signing up for it? Would a SAR get the paperwork?
I've looked back through bank statements going back 8 years and its on there!!
On reflection yes I should have checked my statements!!!!!
Anyone else experience of this?

As far as I'm aware, you won't be able to claim it back. The company is likely to say that you could have cancelled it anytime and so they're not responsible.
I think the best thing to do is cancel it ASAP and make sure you check your statement closely next time. Sorry, but I can't think of any way around it unfortunately.0 -
They do have some instances where they can refund. For example if you upgraded through the network direct and a couple of others. Give them a ring. You have to start to finish.

You will be relying on goodwill alone - they can sometimes agree to a token gesture but, as always, it is your money and your responsibility to spend responsibly.0
