Who Is Responsible For Gas Safety Checks?

We do actually have a gas meter which looks like a boiler. A reading is taken every month, along with how much gas we've bought.

The sewage smell comes from the communal boiler room. Apparently its normal when it gets cleaned.

I suspect this is not a gas meter but a heat meter.

This works out how much energy you have used by meauring the change in temerature of the flow in and out of the flat, and the volume.

But you do not have a gas supply, so you are not purchasing any gas. As is now revealed, it's a communal heating sytem. To remove any doubts, can you post a pic of your 'gas meter'?
