    Yes if you have planted it yourself then it will be seen to be criminal damage.

    I would take it up again with the council, and ask for a follow up on the investigation about the noise, as well as getting them to deal with the criminal damage issue. Whenever you speak to someone from the council, take their name and extension number, and keep a log of who you've spoken to.


    We pay SO much in council tax, and yet we get very little in return. Your CT is probably paying for that neighbour to live there, so you have every right to complain and see some action from the council.

    It's a shame that the council don't have targets about dealing with complaints/issues, and that if they don't meet their target, then the person who they let down can withhold part of their CT payment!!

    Hedges are much prettier than fences, so I can see why you're so angry, and I would harrass the council with this on a daily basis until they do something!
