Does anybody have any first hand experience of which of these hotels are the best? I am looking to book but no idea which to go for?

Thanks I'm going to have a look at both online but by the sounds of your post will probably opt for the Splash Landings
Thanks again0 -
Hi,
Have stayed a couple of times in each. Both are very good, but I think Splash Landings shades it slightly because it is newer. A few of the ATH rooms are showing signs of their age.0 -
We did Splash Landings last year, my rich bro paid for it. We had a lovely time, and the food was great.

try this link found it a great help
we have stayed at the splash landings hotel and we are going to the a.t hotel in a few weeks, the rooms are very similar just themed on either explorer /traveller or a nautical/ sea themed. you are welcome to use either of the hotels facilities bars restaurant regardless of were you stay, the a.t hotel has a ala carte menu rstaurant where as the splash landings is a as much as you can eat buffet style which is great when you have kids.both were great and very geared for families and the staff were fantasticyou spend the first years of your childs life encouraging them to walk and talk and then spend the next 15 years telling them to sit down and shut up!

We stayed at the AT hotel when the rooms were £10 with lastminute.com and we loved it..The only thing I thought with splash landing hotel is that people go through the corridors to get to the pool area where as the AT hotel is at the other end..would go again if there was an offer on as we loved it0

We're going next month for my lil man's 4th birthday. It tooked me ages to decide which hotel to go for but I went with the AT hotel in the end. I hope I made the right choice!

Thanks everyone thats been really helpful. I've booked to go to the Splash Landings Hotel for 1 night bed and breakfast which includes a pass for us to go into Cariba Creek Waterpark and I've ordered Alton Towers tickets with my clubcard points for the other day so the total cost for the two days theme parks and B&B is £121 with the 50% off code. So I think thats a good deal.
Thanks so much.0
