I have a female friend who is trying to get insured shes 24 years old. Basically her insurance for a car like a second hand Renault Clio, Toyota Yaris is coming to roughly around £2400 a year primarily due to the location she lives in , Birmingham. In my opinion the quotes extortionate.
She is fluttering with idea of getting a finance which includes insurance in it. For those who have had experience in this, would this step be worth it? and where shall she look to find quotes etc she's not too bothered about the car. She just wants to bring her payments down.

If your going to get finance with insurance included make sure you are covered most of them have a lot of exclusions such as no new drivers, no drivers with points, wont cover different classes of insurance, ect ect0

So she buys a car on finance this year and spends all her money on it. (The insurance isnt free by the way the cars overpriced by that amount.)
usually you need to be over 25 and have 2 years no claims to qualify.
Say she finds one that accepts younger and zero no claims, How will she afford next years premium when also paying off a loan for a car? And the cars due a service that could be several hundred pounds + an MOT?Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -

Excellent point so you got your 1st years insurance "free" with the fiance deal great (As mentioned its not free, just been over charged for the vehicle in the first place), what about the 2nd and 3rd year, finance payments wont have changed and insurance wont have suddenly become dirt cheap if its that high in the first place. Plus as mentioned you will also have the 1st years service costs, depending on mileage also a couple of tyres.0
