There is lubricant in the gas, so to make sure your air con system stays healthy for as long as possible USE IT. Especially during the winter when most people forget about it. Run it at least once a week for 10 mins or so, keeps that oil lubricating the seals.Unless it is damaged or discontinued - ignore any discount of over 25%0

Hi all, I went to ATS in the end as its closer. Thanks to the poster who mentioned ATS, I didn't even think about them! It was £55 for a recharge and antibacterial clean. Out of interest before the recharge the temp was 22.5 and after 3.8! The gas level was 30 and afterwards 470!! I'm very relieved there was no leak. Also got a free tyre check.
