Windows Problem - uPVC not MS

Hi all, I am after a bit of advice about my uPVC windows , some of the coating is peeling and Mrs DCM is pestering me about what I can do, so being useless about DIY have any of you lovely folks any ideas ? I will post a piccy as soon as I can ....many thanks DCM

    I can give you a number for an Indian call centre that might be able to help with your problem ..... (bad joke) ;)

    It seems that the best solution is to touch up the affected area using uPVC paint and some creativity.

    Are they uPVC or aluminium covered in uPPVC?

    I dunno they were fitted about 20 years ago by BAC but that is probably no help, in those days I was using MVS and VM on IBM mainframes and Unix on various platforms I didn't have time to look through the windows :o I guess that some of it is aluminium eg the space between the panes. Was hoping there may be a laminate type material that could be cut to fit and glued (that's how it seems from the outside)

    Back then a lot of windows were metal covered, in your case, with a wood grain vinyl.

    A bit like the good old Blue Peter stick backed plastic!
