anyone else had problems with phones 4 u?

Hi All
first post here.
Long story short.
Cold called in the evening 1 mth prior to end of current contract to try to get me to upgrade.
After a long call they succeeded.
I changed my mind afterwards as I am quite happy with the phone/service I have and really didnt want the 18mth tie in. I work long hours and by the time I called to cancel I was told I was one day outside their 7 day time limit to cancel.

I was sure I hadnt been told of the time limit . They said they would listen to the call and get back to me . now say I was told. If I want a copy I have to pay £10.

Any advice?

    Did you receive any documents in the post? If not, then you could argue that you've had no official documentation stating that you had 7 days to cancel.

    Also, I suggest visiting a P4U store and ask to speak with the manager; I doubt he'd want you kicking up a fuss and scaring away potential customers, so you may be able to get something sorted.
