It's funny the difference moving cities can make to driving red mist. When I go back to my home city everyone is very polite (of course there's 1-2 so and so's) but here everyone drives so aggressively that you're always on edge thinking who's going to almost hit you to jump two spots this time!! I haven't driven in London and don't think of like to!0

Young women drivers. ARGHHHHHH!!!!! Why do they have to drive so close they're almost in my boot? I rage about them but also show my brake lights til they get the message. I had one pull up beside me once though and shout at me for being brake happy, silly mare. Men tend to keep a sensible distance but to even things up their crime is not knowing where the indicator stalk is, they think all other drivers are psychic.
Having said which not so long ago I was cut up by a boy racer so went to show him my headlights - and turned on the windscreen washer instead, which is on the opposite side of the steering wheel. Well, I've only had the car 12 years. Sort of lost its impact, that one :rotfl:0 -

I did that DURING my driving test (only with the windscreen wipers instead) after being cut off by a giant lorry on the motorway. I was a little flustered...:o0 -
I've just had quite a bust up with my brother, we disagreed on a decision he'd made.
Unfortunately it was a work decision and he's the boss and I'm not, things are a bit tense at the moment, not been on the dole before, eek!Don't wait for your ship to come in, swim out to it.0 -

It was one of the roundabouts with traffic lights on it, so not time to filter between cars easily. I ended up slightly over in one lane waiting for the lights to go green. A white van squeezed past on my left, with the driver giving me a lot of verbals and the two-fingered salute.
Normally this behaviour would have brought the red mist down but instead I just felt 'yeah, I've arrived in London!':rotfl:
This is why I always try not to let the red mist take over - the person who you think has just been a right b*stard, trying to cut in at the front of the queue, could just be someone who's made a genuine mistake.
Trouble is in London, there are enough brazenly pushy drivers who don't care whether they're cutting in etc, that you do end up assuming the worst....Mortgage when started: £330,995

I don't really get red mist in the car. I'd like to think I am quite laid back. But I sometimes get the red mist over tiny things at home... I don't even realise it's happened till it's over... Things like getting stuck in a top and ripping it in a sudden burst of rage because I am stuck...
Strange thing I am.0 -
I am extremely laid back in real life and NEVER row or shout at anyone but oh my god I don't know what happens to me when I get into my car! It's like another personality. People always seem to be out to get me, cut me up, nearly hit me. Im constantly beeping the horn, shouting, swearing, doing the 'what the f*** are you doing?' shoulder shrug at people.
Two days ago I followed someone down the slip road onto an 8 lane motorway and they were doing TWENTY MILES PER HOUR. Yes 20 mph. Merging onto a 70mph busy motorway. So they got a few words.0
