Samsung U600 question

This is rally for any other U600 owners out there.

I just got a Samsung U600 as part of a deal from e2Save.

It was a clearance phone, but came boxed with all the cables/discs/manuals etc and even has the protective pastic covering on the screen still.

My problem is that the phone has no ringtones on it and no wallpaper on it.

Does it ship like this ? Am I simply supposed to add my own rigntones and wallpaper or has someone deleted everything from it before returning it to e2Save, including all the ringtones & wallpaper.

Does anyone who got a brand new U600 have a selection of ringtones & wallpaper on theirs ?

If this is the case, is there any way I can get it back to "As New" with everything on it that should be on it when it ships from the factory ?

when i did a full master reset on an SE K750i the other day, some files were restored (but not that many)

I have recently taken delivery of a brand new U600 and only seem to have one ring tone.

I am trying to work out how to change or add some more so if you have already worked this out would be pleased to know what to do.

im wanting on of these does anyone know anything about unlocking?

i looked around and foud this

but is that just to unlock java or what. i know samsungs need codes but i dont want to pay the mony out to get it.

i had same problem and had to speak to samsung as my provider did not know either.
follow sound settings / incoming calls / ring tone choices then click central ok button . choose default ringtones option that should give you 21 different tones

you will have to pay to get this unlocked to all networks.

that code is to allow you to put your own java games/apps on the phone

Have now found the sound settings but when it says Ringtone 1 I cant seem to find any other options. There is an arrow but it wont seem to let me access it.

Any ideas?

thats what is confusing . it wont let you arrow across. press the ok button instead then go for default tones

well my other samsungs have been unlocked with the basic code that is typed in and it unlocks that brand. i was just wondering if anyone had this.

if ya do a search on yahoo theres load of places to get free java games. also try a torrent. i would recoment gameloft games they are always the best.
