Entering your PIN in backwards...

Options
Is this true that if you enter your PIN in backwards at a cash machine that it alerts the police or something?

Can't see it being true myself but i've heard it from a few folk now, so thought i'd just ask.

But then there's people like myself ..... my PIN is the same backwards as it is forwards. I've never been rushed by the cops.

"Part P" is not, and has never been, an accredited electrical qualification. It is a Building Regulation. No one can be "Part P qualified."

Yes of course it works :D, I mean imagine if your pin was something like 1221 for example.

    Police aren't interested anyway.

If it were true, banks would publicize it like there was no tomorrow.

It's not remotely dangerous. Worst case scenario, someone doesn't enter their PIN backwards and the police don't arrive. Or perhaps the person does put it in backwards and is then disappointed when the police ... don't arrive.
