If you get a letter before action from a private parking company, fight back hard by using - and making them use - the Practice Direction on Pre-action Conduct.

They may send you template letters and FAQ's in reply, but keep at it - if they are daft enough to take you to court you will have a whole bunch of letters to show that they have refused to followed the court's directions.

See the thread here for more information and guidance on using the Practice Direction to your advantage

    Thanks for the advice.

I noticed the Small Claims Track fee of £50 when reading other threads. Makes me think is it worth all the hassle and months of back and forth especially if i lose. Quick question (big if) but if i did lose, would i have to pay the other parties expenses and costs too?

Just concerned I will end up with a big fat bill.

    Thanks in advance
