Lidl Warranty

Hi,
I'm not sure what to do about a car radio I bought from Lidl for my Partners car.. It was a bluetooth radio and I bought it because it had a 3 year Guarantee on it. At the beginning of the year, (1.5yrs after buying it) it went wrong and the bluetooth bit didn't work, so I went to Lidl, with the original receipt and box etc, and they said I had to contact Customer Service..so I did..and they said I had to contact the warranty company that deals with their guarantees..However, 2 tries later and I just get the 'postmaster failure' email..3 calls and 2 emails to Lidl (to which they didn't reply) to make sure I had the correct email address and it still won't send. I can't even find the company on the internet.
What do I do next? What are my rights does anyone know? I want to just go to Lidl and say 'Give me a refund (as he's bought a new radio as NEEDS Bluetooth in his car and this has been going on for 2 months!) and YOU sort it out with the warranty company if you can get hold of them!'
Help PLEASE!!
:shocked::shocked:

Go back to Customer Service.
Clearly they gave you duff contact information for the warranty people.
Ask them for the correct information.0 -
Thanks Wealdroam. I have already though. Had them repeat it the 1st time, then when rang again and spoke to someone else got them to repeat it and spell it out, but still no good.
Just noticed, on the box it just says 3 year warranty..nothing about who the warranty's with..surely it would be Lidl as that's where I bought it from?0 -
What is the email address you have, and the name of the company if not self evident?0

Could be manufacturer's warranty.thebathhouse wrote: »Thanks Wealdroam. I have already though. Had them repeat it the 1st time, then when rang again and spoke to someone else got them to repeat it and spell it out, but still no good.

Any contact details on the box or inside?
Maybe you can find warranty support information here.
In fact at the bottom of that page it says...
So get the manual for your product and apparently support contact details are inside.Should you have a problem with a product, please contact the designated service partner detailed in the manual directly.0 -
info@jnc-digital.de both times I've tried, I get the postmaster failure email. When I type in Jnc digital, it comes up with jnc, but when I click on 'contact us' it's a totally different address AND it's not the company the lady at Lidl said did their warranty..0

You guys have been so much more helpful so far than Customer Service! Just got the manual out and typed in the web address they give and it doesn't work!!0

I have pinged the email address, and it definitely does not exist. Unfortunately I can't find an alternative. Have you tried posting on their Facebook page? Asking in the public domain tends to get some attention.0

Try germany@datum-jebsen.com.
http://www.datum-jebsen.com/gm.html seems to be the same company
EDIT: Or service@datum-jebsen.com but that seems to be the hong kong office so they might not be much help if you need to send it back.0 -
Thank you Dogger69. No idea what 'pinging' is, but I really appreciate you doing it and finding out it doesn't exist - it's not just me going mad! Have found a telephone no in the manual (premium rate - shocker!) so gonna give that a go tmw.. Will try looking at their FB page in the meantime....thank you loads :-)0

oh wow! Thank you Helix! It has the same street address as in the manual. Will email them and see what they can come up with! Thank you!0
