Transfer ISP service or new contract

I'm with plusnet (no contract option with my own router). I'm happy with my service. I'm moving house in the next month and was thinking rather than transferring the service. I should cancel the service here and then re-join as a new customer benefiting from 12 months half price broadband.
I can't see a downside to this... can anyone else?
