has anyone had a nintendo wii from dialaphone?

has anyone had a nintendo wii as a free gift from dialaphone or mobile express? if so how long did it take to recieve it.
i am very unhappy with their service.

Considering that the moment they get shipped in the country they are sold out again and thousands of people are still on backorder I am not surprised you haven't got yours yet...As dialaphone probably won't have been supplied either...

It would be helpful when you state in your post how long you have been waiting as I hope you are aware that it will be 28 days plus an availability clause...

i had no i idea there was a shortage. the advert when i applied for the phone said they had them in stock. i also checked by ordering over the phone and the man said i would recieve it in 28 days. they also text me 3 times saying it would be dispatched no later than 15/5. they have offered £180 argos vouchers instead. maybe i should take them as they may get stock sooner. just feel let down that they obviously knew there was a problem and mugged me off. thought i would be safe with a big company!!!

To be fair to dialaphone they have tried to do everything they can. They obviously can't get them quickly so they've offered you the value in Argos vouchers so that you can buy it there at no expense to yourself. They are trying to work with you to deliver to their obligations to you. If they came back to you and said "Tough, we've run out so you go without" then you would be right to feel let down. The fact of the matter is that they have offered you the equivilent value (or slightly more when you get a free game as well from argos) in Argos vouchers.

In your situation I would try and negotiate £200 of vouchers as you've had to wait a bit, and you'll have to travel to the shopping centre to get it, then see what they say.

Then wait a couple of months for the prices to come down, buy it and put the rest towards Christmas shopping

They offered me vouchers after the 28 days. No big deal, just keep checking the Argos website and try to reserve one. They send them out in a combination of £10 and £20 vouchers, so if you find you don't want a Wii you can use them on other stuff.

As a moneysaver, I got the Wii and sold it on ebay for over £200.

i rang dialaphone and after a bit of not backing down they found me 1 within a day and recieved it 2 days later. so it is worth complaining as they obviously take their customer services seriously which is nice to see. :j

Hi there, I'm in the same situation as lisac, I was just wondering if anyone knows a decent customer service number for dialaphone. I've only been able to get hold of useless automated lines which lead nowhere! Please help! Cheers.

I am currently having problems with dia a phone and canconfirm there is no 'live' customer services. The only trick I have found is to go through the automated system and when it asks (eventually) what you are calling for tellthem 'insurance' as you do get a real person.

They can't help me though, so I'll just have to remember not to bother with DAP ever again. I don't trust companies where you are actively denied the ability to talk to a real person.

BSP, when you got your Wii from argos, did u go in store? or have it delivered? I keep checking the argos website but they dont ever seem to be in stock in store, only for delivery but Im assuming you cant use vouchers online?
