help needed...

Hi

I need some help. I just moved into my new home (renting) and I need to get connected both to broadband and telephone. I've just moved into the country.

I've read through the forum and I think I'd like to get either Talk Talk or Virgin Media. However, I do not have a BT account or a BT phone number (both I think, requires it). I know that there was a previous BT line but I'm not really keen on getting a BT phoneline and BT Broadband. Do you guys have any idea how I should go about getting connected? Do I need to connect to BT and have a line with them before switching to Talk Talk or Virgin?

Thanks.

Virgin is cable, don't think you need a BT line with them if you are in a area served by cable. If not BT line is only option.

    Contact them and ask.

just because you have a BT line, doesn't mean that you have to use BT broadband....
