as long as it was a fully synthetic youll have no issues driving it back to have the book requirements put back in it, it didnt nothing on they way back from the garage did it so there will be no issues driving it back.
im not sure and dont have access to the autodata application no longer, but i did read somehwere that renault had updated its oil specs in recent years, wich applied to past vehicles aswell.0 -
I have a 2007 Saab with the same engine and the specified oil for it was Mobil 1 0w40. The oil now recommended by GM for that engine is Dexos 2 and that is a 5w30 oil. Oils that have been approved by GM to meet the Dexos 2 spec include 0w30 0w40 and 5w40 oils so you have nothing to worry about. I believe Fiat changed the recommended grade from 10w40 to 5w40 around 2005.0
