Tracing Child Trust Fund

So after 6 months of completing the HMRC online form and calling them I eventually by complete accident got through to someone who was able to help. I found that my daughters CTF was at Britannia and they gave me a number to call. I called Britannia who said they sold the policy on to Axa. They gave me a number to call. I did, and they couldn't help me. Now I am stuck in limbo between Britannia and Axa who each say they can't help and I need to speak to the other. Can anyone help? Did anyone else open one at Britannia and has suffered this? Who at Axa can help? Their standard customer numbers have proved no help at all. Help!!!!0

With regard to Britannia, since they have told you that they passed it on to AXA but AXA maintain there is no trace of it, you could start with a complaint to Britannia? http://www.britannia.co.uk/_site/corporate/contact-us/making-a-complaint.html
At least this should get you a response and details in writing.
You can then contact AXA in writing and if there is no joy, make a formal complaint to FOS?0
