Hi sorry to bring this back up but since my last post the court has made a right mess of things. I was told to send them a letter explaining the situation along with a copy of my passport and then I would be given a new court date....I sent this letter and then rang and rang and rang constantly being told the letter hadnt been received so anyway I asked if they had checked everywhere it would be put and a nice woman finally found it had been filed and not even passed onto a legal advisor....So now my license has been temprorarily revoked as I was waiting for a new court date so the DVLA would suspend this happening, the court received my letter in plenty of time but now I have to pay £50 to get my license back (I am aware I could of returned my license before the deadline but if I am honest I dont know where my paper part is so wanted to get it all sorted before having to get a new license anyway. It would make sense to me that as the court has made a mess!! They should bare some of the cost but that isnt going to happen....Just seeing is it worth writing a letter of complaint to the court or not?

    Thanks

Seeing as you criticized the people on here who gave you advice, over on the Pepipoo forum.

And you said how you hate this country so much.

In the words of the dragons. I'M OUT.

He didn't really criticize posters on here, but it is very frustrating trying to help someone who then doesn't do anything that is suggested.

He did of course say he hates this country so he may well be gone from these shores soon

That's what trackable mail is for! If you'd sent it recorded delivery you would be able to prove when it was received by the court to the DVLA. Hindsight and all that...
I don't like chick flicks, I get grazed knuckles doing my own car repairs and I ride a massive cruiser motorbike. To many this makes me a bloke in disguise but to my husband this makes me perfect

Well, you say you're the kind of company that doesn't keep records... maybe this shows you that you should have done!

All of this could have been avoided then.

Kind of company that doesn't keep records? I don't know what you mean by that?

And yes maybe recorded would of been better but they have already told me it was received on the 24th? I have rang since and they said it hadn't been received...it want until a nice lady actually checked the case file that she found it had been filed away without passing it onto the legal team.....that is equivalent to me taking blood at work sending it to pathology who just put it in a box without testing the sample :/
