Just watched Monday's episode of "Dispatches". My blood is boiling! Now I know why our parcels go missing or get broken. All those involved at the Bournemouth depot should be fired straight away - and should not be paid unemployment benefit at all!
Somewhere on these threads, I had read about people doing a "drop test" and I had laughed then - sorry for not taking you seriously. I now know why that is necessary.0 -
Yes it was a disgrace that undercover footage of those idiotic men booting things around the warehouse, and helping themselves to expensive bottles of wine and meat consignments from stores such as M and S as some dent was in a box and so that is the office perk, the men didnt care at the depot, someone elses problem, flinging tellies and laptops about like ragdolls. It will get ten times worse when Royal Mail is sold off.0

It is about couriers , the main one under the spotlight undercover recording was with Ukmail who will have a bigger hand in the mail system once RM is sold. These are the couriers who will be handling a lot of the UK consumers items.
And there were some bits about TNT postmen caught simply ripping up mail and putting it in bins and the trolley the posties use not being closed and members of the public can dip a hand in when it was parked outside a high street shop left unattended.0 -
