Wireless router for 3G dongle? Which should I be looking at?

I hope I've posted this in the right topic (apologies if not).
I'm looking at getting a tablet but currently use a 3G dongle for internet.
After a bit of googling it seems I can get a wireless router, is this right, which should I look at and how much should I be paying?
Can you tell I'm clueless?!? :rotfl:
I want to stick with my dongle as I refuse to give any money to Karoo/KC who have the monopoly on landline phones and broadband in Hull

My dongle is Huawei so am familiar with the name. So I can just plug my pay monthly 3G dongle into the router and I will have wireless to use on laptop or tablet? That would be so handy! :-)It is only a bargain if you need it!0

It is effectively a "wireless dongle" which you need to put the SIM card from your dongle in. You will then be able to share the internet with any of your wireless enabled machines.0

Argos have them but locked to T-Moble for £29.99 plus a £10 top up. A 99p unlock code from Ebay would bring it in a bit cheaper and if you can use the top-up or sell it even better value.0
