Oh that was hideous and funny at the same time :rotfl: it was all wonky after the "tidied" it up with the pinking sheers :rotfl:0 -
I forgot to say the headboard with all the books- it was crap- and i think the girl they made it for probably chucked afterwards.0

yes super scrimpers is an amateurish attempt to cash in on the austerity band wagon. the powers that be don't really want people to know about the real scams and money saving opportunities that are out there, the economy would fall apart (worse than it is already)within weeks if everyone was properly clued up on how to opt out of rip off britain. this patronising programme gets a few viewers because it is on at a time when there is nothing else worth watching. 3.5 out of 10, for effortsquaaaaaaaaacccckkkkkk!!!! :money:0

It made me chuckle when on one episode a woman made her own lipgloss because it's "cheaper". Then she brought out the ingredient list, which wasn't exactly cheap. I could buy a lip gloss for a quid - that would be cheaper. :rotfl:0

Tbf I think it's a good programme for those wanting to support independent retailers, of course you can buy all of this cheaper from a huge corporation but not everyone wants to support them so for those wanting to save money AND support local businesses it's not that bad a programme.
Having said that some of that stuff is not worth ever giving as gifts.0 -
